The alleged drunk driver who mowed down and killed a newly-wed bride who had just left her wedding has hired a pair of high-caliber lawyers to her defense. Jamie Lee Komoroski, 25, is being represented by Nathan S. Williams — a former federal prosecutor who put South Carolina church-shooter Dylan Roof on death row — and former New Jersey county prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni, court records obtained by DailyMail.com showed. Dando fiance describes their last moments together

The last minutes which Jill Dando spent with her fiance on the morning before she was murdered were today described to the jury trying her alleged killer. Alan Farthing, a consultant at St Mary's Hospital in London, was due to marry the Miss Dando, known as the BBC's Golden Girl, on September 25 1999, but she was murdered that April. In a statement read to the court Mr Farthing said that on the day before she was shot dead on her doorstep the couple had met and lunched with friends and then spent a quiet evening at home writing letters.
