David Harbour is an American actor best known for playing Chief Jim Hopper on the Netflix show ‘Stranger Things’ for three seasons. The wildly popular Netflix show made him a household name in 2016, and garnered him an Emmy and Golden Globe nomination. He won the Critics Choice Award for the role in 2018. Before ‘Stranger Things’, David had a long career in Broadway, film, and television. He made his Broadway debut in 1999 in the play ‘The Rainmaker’, and later received a Tony nomination in 2005 for his performance in ‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?’ David also had memorable roles in shows like ‘Pan Am’, and ‘The Newsroom’, and in films like ‘Revolutionary Road’ and ‘Brokeback Mountain’. In 2019, he played the title role in the revival of ‘Hellboy’.
